ERA Chair holder Kaspar Valgepea gave a talk at the 20th International Conference on Systems Biology

ERA Chair and group leader Kaspar Valgepea gave the talk “Unraveling acetogen gas fermentation using quantitative systems biology” at the 20th International Conference on Systems Biology held in Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), Japan on the 4th of November 2019. The event is the annual most important meeting for the field of systems biology and attracts hundreds of international participants. This year’s focus was on application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to advance systems biology for understanding disease, metabolism, communities etc. The ERA Chair Kaspar Valgepea presented results on how systems biology helped to unravel novel regulatory features in gas-fermenting bacteria.
